The Linden Board of Education swore in three new members at its annual organization meeting on Thursday, Jan. 3. 

Patrick Gargano, Doris Johnson and Marianthe Manganello were sworn in to three-year terms. All were elected to their first terms on Nov. 6.

The new board chose Gregory R. Martucci as its president and Katarzyna Kozak as its vice president.

The board voted to set the meeting schedule for 2019, with most regular meetings scheduled for the final Thursday of each month, at Linden High School during the school year, and at the board offices at 2 E. Gibbons St. in July and August.
