Below you will find the procedure for enrolling your student into our school system.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Prior to scheduling an appointment, you must obtain a registration packet. These may be obtained in-person at the Central Registration office, via download from this website, or by sending an email requesting a packet to registration@lindenps.org.

The following documents are necessary in order to complete registration. Please make sure to have all proper documentation as well as the completed registration packet (including Universal Health Record, completed by a physician) at the time of registration.

Original Birth Certificate or Passport
*A LEGAL PARENT MUST BE PRESENT AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. If the individual registering the student is not the legal parent, Proof of Custody must be provided at that time.*
Proof of Custody
(Court Order, Judgment, or Power of Attorney)
Parent/Guardian Photo I.D.  
Proof of Residency (“6 Points” – see below) Affidavit
(Must be completed with an Attendance Officer prior to registration)
Up-to-Date copy of Immunization/Vaccination Record Copy of current IEP or 504
Transfer Card  
Most recent Report Card and/or Transcript 8th Grade Diploma (9th Grade students only)
State or Standardized Test Results (NJASK, PARCC, etc) Proof of Income (ONLY Pre-K applicants, optional)

Registration is by APPOINTMENT ONLY, available at the following dates and times:

TUESDAY  8:30 AM – 12:30 PM; 1:30 – 3:00 PM
WEDNESDAY  8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
THURSDAY 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM; 2:00 – 3:00 PM
FRIDAY 8:30 – 11:30 AM; 12:30 – 3:00 PM

Please note: These hours are subject to change without notice. During Summer Hours, the office is closed on Fridays through August and hours may differ slightly. Please call for more information.

100 EDGEWOOD ROAD LINDEN, NJ 07036 UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED.

 

Mortgage, Deed, Tax Bill – 3 PTS Gas Bill – 2 PTS Letters (doctor, lawyer, court) – 1 PTS
Car Registration, Insurance – 2 PTS Water Bill – 2 PTS Credit Card Bill – 1 PT
Cable Bill – 2 PTS Pay Stub – 2 PTS NJ Driver’s License/State ID – 1 PT
Government Mail – 2 PTS Electric Bill – 2 PTS Lease – 1 PT

“6 POINTS” FOR PROOF OF RESIDENCY
Each document MUST be up to date (within 30 days of registration appointment) and have the current address of the Linden Resident.
