Criminal Justice Court Visit
The Criminal Justice Class had a great time and learned quite a bit during their trip to the Union County Corrections facility and Union County Superior Courts. While there students had the opportunity to the discuss the role of the officers, the history of the Correction Facility, and the day to day operations. Students also visited the Superior Court Control Center and discussed the responsibilities, various roles in the justice system, and how different emergency situations are handled. The Criminal Justice students were also invited to watch a trial in progress – with real people, lawyers, and judge. After seeing the trial students sat down with Judge Daniel to discuss the cases they saw in progress that morning.
