At Highland Avenue School 10, our students are scholars and innovators. They are supported by a phenomenal staff that is wholeheartedly committed to providing them with the very best education imaginable. We believe that school should be fun, engaging, and most importantly, prepare our students for the rigorous demands of the 21st century.
We believe that a solid foundation for learning is also built upon a strong partnership with parents and the community. Our staff, along with our PTA, forms a team that is dedicated to seeing all students succeed. We believe together that every child should be supported in their personal development, formation of character and self-image, and respect for themselves and others. We are Tiger Strong!
We are also at the forefront of technology, responding to an ever-changing and interconnected world. Our students in grades 3-5 are provided with MacBook Airs, and our students in K-2 utilize iPads regularly in their learning. All students are provided with opportunities to utilize technology in both a practical and authentic way. Our Technology Teacher, Vanguard and Student Vanguard teams support the school’s instructional technology goals, and help to lead the school in technology integration.
