The Linden Public Schools are extremely pleased and proud that Linden High School was an active participant in the pilot program to bring the Seal of Biliteracy to New Jersey.

Bringing together students from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities, the Seal of Biliteracy seeks to provide all bilingual students with the option of not only demonstrating the ability to speak, but also to read and write a second (or even sometimes a third) language. By doing so, these students have made themselves more desirable as both college students as well as future citizens.

Since 2014, Linden has had well over 200 students earn the Seal of Biliteracy in languages ranging from Spanish to French to Greek to Swahili. We are extremely proud of their achievements and look forward to having our graduating class of 2019 improve upon these numbers.
