Thank you to Nurse Radil for setting up this great assembly on why brushing, flossing, and making healthy choices are so important!

As part of our observance of Black History Month, the Zuzu Acrobat group came and put on a great show for our students and staff!

February is Heart Health Month ❤️

Polish Heritage Month

During the Polish Heritage Month (October), Mrs. Perz-Winters and Mrs. Pelesz conducted some bilingual activities for students speaking Polish and English at School 6.We played interactive langauge games (e.g., game about all kinds of dogs on polishbilingualdays.com), had a hands-on activity about Polish Food (poster and memory game) and a translating activity about Positive Mindset (see the bulletin board). Mr. Merton (Kindergarden teacher) read in English, a famous Polish legend and asked his students comprehension questions about the characters and the plot. On October 23rd, students were invited to wear red for Red Ribbon Week kick-off and Polish Heritage Month celebrations. We had over a hundred students and staff members participating in the group photo.
