Good evening!
On April 3rd, after reluctantly saying goodbye to Xiamen, our exchange group flew to Beijing on the morning flight. After we arrived in Beijing, we visited the Temple of Heaven-the World’s Largest Sacred Temple where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties offered their worship for Heaven and prayed for harvest. We also visited Hong Qiao Market & students got a first hand shopping experience in China, which was to bargain for the item at a lower price. For dinner, we met with Lisa and her husband, our sponsors in Beijing and had dinner with them. Attached please kindly find some pictures taken on that day.
