Today is the last day of Linden Chinese exchange program at Xiamen Foreign Language School. In the morning, our students had a Chinese conversation class, a Chinese folk song class and Taichi class. Today is the climax of our exchange program in Xiamen, which also gets very emotional. In the morning, one of our exchange students participated and performed at Xiamen Foreign Language School’s talent show, which caused quite a sensation on campus. In the afternoon, the school held a farewell party for us and all the homestay students were invited. Students from both schools gave a performance, then they played a game and danced together and took pictures. They feel very hard to say good bye after these few days of learning and playing together. Students from both schools hope that the friendship they built from this program would last for a lifetime because everyone on the program feels that this exchange has made a life changing impact. One of our students said that before his visit to Xiamen he did not like school and thought school was boring but now after our exchange trip visited Hanban at Xiamen University, he becomes interested in school and is more looking forward to school.
